Caring
Caring
In New York, a kindergarten wanted to use favorable salary to recruit a supervisor, candidates including graduate students specializing in child psychology, and many experienced workforce.
The final round of interviews, interview rooms were arranged on 2nd floor, at the stair corner was a dirty little boy, nose and tears flowing.
Each candidate rushed through a lot of stairs for the interview, they looked like they could not see the little boy, only an interviewee named May stopped, took out a handkerchief and wiped the boy's tears and snot.
'Do not cry, have you lost your mother? I will help you to find your Mom later.'
After the interview, candidates are hurried down the stairs, into the auditorium to wait for the result, and only May stayed to sing and tell stories for the little boy.
It turned out that the boy is the kindergarten's arrangement, and all this has been recorded.
When the president announced the hiring of May, and played back the early record, each candidate had bowed their head in shame, knowing the reason of their rejection.
The fact that our hearts are filled with love; is the most precious.

Milk Experiment

Milk Experiment
Journalists visit the famous scientist Stephen Gray, and asked him why he is more creative than an average person.
Gray recalled his childhood in a small story:
Once he tried to take a bottle of milk from the refrigerator, but he missed. The bottle fell down and splashed onto the ground. When his mother saw that she did not yell. Instead of scolding Gray, she said to him: 'Anyway, this has already happened. Before cleaning it, do you want to play the milk ocean? But we have to clean up after playing and return it to its original place. We can use a sponge or a mop to clean it up. Which one do you want to use?'
Gray picked up the sponge to clean the floor.
His mother asked him whether he wanted to try to take the bottle again. Gray then filled the bottle with water, grabbed the top of the bottle and learned the skill to hold a bottle.
'That moment I knew we should not fear of mistakes. Mistakes are opportunities to learn new things, as well as fail scientific experiments, where we will learn valuable things.'

Buffett's investment Gonglue

Buffett's investment Gonglue
Speculators:
Just trying to speculate trading activities from the market in search of profits, being eager to make money under the control of psychology, believing in messages are more than performance, will easily fall into the 'buy high sell low' trap.
Investors:
Focus on the intrinsic value of the stock through logic and nature to find long-term value in the stock, buy only when the prices were strongly supported by its value.
If a stock is not worth holding onto for ten years, it is not worth holding for one day, long-term investment enable investors to enjoy the growth of compound interest.
When all people buy stocks, it may be just the best time to sell your stocks.

A Potential Asset

A Potential Asset
Marx: 'Mankind's essence is the sum of social relations, the more abundant the connections, the greater the energy.'
U.S. oil magnate John D. Rockefeller: 'I am willing to pay a higher price to have other skills; to obtain the ability to get along with others."
U.S. President Theodore Roosevelt: 'The first element of success is to know how to improve interpersonal relationships.'
It seems a lot of successful people are telling us that a network of contacts is not money, but an intangible asset and a potential wealth of the justification.
A person without good relations, even with the wealth of knowledge and skills, will not have a room.
U.S. business once conducted a survey on leadership, results showed that:
1. Managers spend an average of 3/4 of their time on dealing with interpersonal relationships.
2. Most of the company's largest expenditure is spent on human resources.
3. Administration of any plan to be implemented, as well as the implementation of the success or failure lies in humans.
Thus, the largest and most important asset of any company is 'people'.
The China matchbox King Lv Chun Mu, was a primary school art teacher. Once, when he saw from a piece of newpaper that the matchbox design was being used to enhance students' interest in learning and create inspiration, he decided to collect matchboxes.
He launched a wide range of communicative activities. First of all, he sent more than 200 letters throughout the match factories, soon received reply from more than 60 match factories, which brought him hundreds of beautiful matchboxes of different kinds.
In 1980, he met a writer of a newspaper, who not only gave him more than 20 matchboxes, but in addition also proposed to him to buy a "matchbox collector Address Book" issued by their publisher. Thus, he was able to get acquainted with more than 100 matchbox collectors.
He not only exchanged his collections with different matchbox collectors, but also with foreign countries through various channels to establish a matchbox collector link.
He was then published on dozens of articles related to matchbox knowledge in the press, and his Matchbox collection is gradually being recognized by the international community matchbox collection organizations.
In 1991, he took out hundreds of his fine collection matchboxes to participate in China's "China 100 absolutely fair". His collection of 14-year history and has a 200,000 matchbox collection, making him known as "China matchbox king".
Obviously, Lv Chun Mu's was a success, thanks to his extensive communication.
The opportunities in life is almost proportional to communicative competence and the size of the scope of activities.

Listening

Surveys about listening:
International Listening Association pointed out that a person's brain can load 1 - 3 thousand words in 1 minute, but most people can only speak out 125 - 250 words in 1 minute, which leaves too much room for day-dreaming. Therefore, most people can only remember 20% of the content they heard and the remaining of approximately 75% of the time was being attracted to other things, leading to unattentive listening.
The improving method is the implementation of "SIER" concept:
* S ---- sense
Speaking speed is slower than listening; when listening to a familiar subject, listeners would easily estimate the contents of the speaker and have a judgment. In the "SIER" concept, we do not have judgments at that time, but rather use this time to "feel" the tone and what the mood is of the speaker's speech.
* I --- interpretation
Think why the speaker uses such interpretation of tone and feelings.
* E ---- Evaluation
Re-assess the content of the speaker's words
* R ---- Response
Finally, making an appropriate response. After a reflection from a more objective point of view to "listen"; to reduce the "self-thought" and not ignore the deep content of a speaker's speech.
Three important ways to remember people's names :
1. Listen carefully to each other's name
2. And then observe characteristics to link up with the name
3. Finally, find opportunities to call the name three times. The name will naturally be imprinted in our minds, even Japanese names work.

It's easy to design a desk for US $1,000, but only a good designer can design a practical desk for US $50.
